Orlando is a very nice place — flat, green and clean. And we arrived probably at the best of seasons, close to summer.
The GCPS was held in the unlikeliest venue – the Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts. On second thought the choice of venue could be probably deliberate so the participants could enjoy the warm Orlando and forget about work.
The Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts, as the name suggests, are two adjacent resorts, separated by a lake (in which you can ride a float shaped as a, er, swan). The green grass and serene lake present an environment more conducive for a long relaxing vacation rather than for a Process Safety Convention.
Sorry, did I say ‘convention’? What convention?
